At the risk of boring you...

I am so proud of my hydrangea. I bought it last year when it was little (the size you give your mom on Mother's Day when you're cheap) and now look at it! I think it loves me. Not all of my plants love me.

None of my plants like me. I couldn't handle the rejection any longer, so I severed ties with my garden. Anyway, I'm much better at quilting, and there are some lovely floral fabrics in the quilt shops.

Quilting is to me as gardening is to you.

No, I have given my own mom the small size hydrangea. But now she is reading my blog, and now she knows I'm cheap. Actually, I knew that if anyone could make a plant flourish, it would be my mom, who taught me to love plants.
